These 5mm cool white diffused flat-top LEDs deliver a broad, even wash of crisp white light across a 120° viewing angle — the right choice when you need wide coverage without a hot spot, from string light repairs to prop builds.
Each LED runs at 3.2–3.4V forward voltage, 20mA, with a diffused lens that scatters light evenly in cool white. At 9,000–11,000 mcd, these are genuinely bright for a 5mm diffused package. The flat-top profile keeps the emission angle wide and the light soft rather than focused.
Common applications
- Holiday string light repair: Standard 5mm format matches C6-style commercial strings from Wintergreen, Christmas Lights Etc., and HolidayLEDs — cool white is the closest match for modern commercial replacements.
- Pinball machine GI lighting: Fits Williams/Bally WPC-era general illumination strings (6.3V AC via bridge rectifier) on machines like Addams Family, Medieval Madness, and Theatre of Magic.
- Arcade cabinet lighting: Powers illuminated Sanwa and Seimitsu 28–30mm pushbuttons at 5V or 12V in JAMMA cabinets; also used for coin door and start button lighting.

Wiring & power notes
DC power recommended: LEDs are designed for DC. Running on AC will cause flickering and reduce lifespan. If using a low-voltage AC source (model railroad transformer, DCC track voltage), convert it to DC with a MB1S bridge rectifier plus a 100µF 50V electrolytic capacitor for clean, ripple-free output.
