This vintage program is in FAIR (moderate cover wear and creases, discoloration along edges, small stains on back, see scan) condition.  

Item is in 6 1/2 x 9 3/4 format, ten pages. 

Program is neatly scored in pencil and is from a game played on August 4, 1940, the first game of a double header between the St. Louis Cardinals at the New York Giants.  

The Giants defeated the Cardinals, 3-2.  Both pitchers pitched a complete game, Hal Schumacher for the Giants and Clyde Shoun for the Cardinals.  Hitting stars for the Giants were Mel Ott, Harry Danning and Frank Demaree with two hits apiece.
