This book gives detailed accounts of the existing Colleges and Schools in Indiana; the Prisons and Reform Schools; accounts of the School Architecture and Furniture, the Soldier's Home, as well as details about revenues, funding, college students.

There are 5 full-page lithographs of the following:

"Indiana University. Bloomington"
"Indiana House of Refuge. Plainfield, Ind"
"Indiana Reformatory Institute for Woman & Girls. Indianapolis"
"Fourth Ward School. Indianapolis"

Some of the buildings include detailed floor plans.
There is a perforated blind stamp on the title page and minor shelf-rubbing on the covers.  The pages are tanned due to age. otherwise this is an attractive vintage piece of regional Americana.
