Vintage program is in good (moderate cover wear and creases, date and final score written in pencil on front, the back cover has a small tear with a portion missing, see scan) condition. The game ticket is included! Newspaper accounts of the game from The Washington Post are included! Program is in 8 1/2 x 11 format, 18 pages. This item is from a game between the Chicago White Sox at the Washington Senators on June 10th, 1958, the first game of a double header. The program is neatly scored in pencil. The White Sox defeated the Senators, 5-4. White Sox starter, Ray Moore, pitched six strong innings allowing only one earned run on three hits for the victory. Billy Pierce pitched a strong ninth inning for the save. Hitting stars for the White Sox were Billy Goodman and Luis Aparicio with two hits apiece, but the key hit was a two run double by Al Smith in the seventh inning when the visitors exploded for four runs. Camilo Pascual started for the Senators and allowed only one run over five innings. Most of the damage came off reliever, Tex Clevenger who took the loss. Jim Lemon had two hits including a home run for the Senators in the losing cause.
