You have recently discovered that film is available once again for your Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera.

After an exhausting search, you finally find your old camera. It's been sitting silently collecting dust for who knows how long, and looks like it needs some serious help. You think to yourself and wish there was someone that could provide that help. Well look no further. You have found him! I can breathe new life into your cherished SX-70, both operationally, and aesthetically!

We offer the same service for the SLR680 and SLR690 cameras here. Item number 123585976223.

*********Due to overwhelming inquiries, I am now offering a "Re-skinning/Refurbishing service" to the public.*********

As with almost everything, the original covering on your SX-70 will get old and worn out over the many years of sitting around, doing nothing but collecting layers upon layers of dust and grime.

Unfortunately, the original skins (covering) are usually in very bad shape and need replacement. The camera will also need a good "look over" by a trained eye to make sure everything is working as it should.

The re-skinning service includes removal of the original skin, complete cleaning and prepping the camera body for installation of a PolaSkinz Brand replacement skin in your choice of color in real leather. It also includes a general cleaning and polishing (removal of scratches) of the entire body including the lens and bellows. The polishing will remove most light scratching, but not the deep scratches. Trust me when I tell you that polishing this camera should NOT be attempted unless you have been trained to do so by the Polaroid Corp like I have been. May sound silly however I've heard plenty of horror stories by people's attempts at this. I will also check the cameras functionality and make all necessary adjustments if needed to bring the camera back up to Polaroid factory specifications as it once was.

I will contact you if there are any issues prior to starting any work.

A little bit about myself. I worked as a camera repair technician at Polaroid (as well as Konica/Minolta USA) at their Paramus NJ location and was factory trained on the entire SX-70 line including the SLR680. I have worked on and refurbished literally thousands of these cameras and believe me when I say that I know everything there is to know about them (or almost everything). Unless others offering a similar service have been Polaroid trained as I have been, I truly believe there is no one that is as qualified knowing the little "tricks" and "Do's and "Don'ts" associated with these cameras as I am. Also, when it comes down to cleaning, testing and adjusting these cameras properly, I believe that I stand alone. Getting them back to their original factory specs, a company trained technician would do a much better job then would someone without that proper training would do. Common sense alone will tell you that. I have invested a lot of time and money finding and building all the proprietary tools and test equipment needed to do this job correctly. The bottom line is be careful with who you can trust working on your camera that's nearly forty years old.

I Co-Founded PolaPros, and am the proud Founder/Owner of WickedSkinz which makes the entire PolaSkinz line of replacement skins that are listed here on eBay.

**********I currently supply the Impossible Project (in the US as well as in Europe) with PolaSkinz, and recently turned down an offer to join their "repair" team due to the time I devote to WickedSkinz. If I was good enough for their repair team, I think I'm good enough to take care of your SX-70.**********

Folks, there's no need to buy another camera. I can make your camera look as close to "brand new" as possible with your choice of real leather PolaSkinz brand replacement skins. We have dozens of beautiful real leather PolaSkinz to choose from.

After completion of payment, choose any of the real leather PolaSkinz offered here for $21.95 on eBay (search PolaSkinz) and simply state your choice (include item number) of color in an eBay message to me. After I receive your camera, you can expect it returned within a week in most cases. If repairs are needed, or an unexpected issue arises, I will get in touch with you with a quote before I perform any work. This way you aren't wasting your time and money putting lipstick on a pig so to speak.

Since I'm the PolaSkinz manufacturer, there isn't any chance of a skin that you would like being out of stock. Like my PolaSkinz guarantee, if you don't like the look, fit or feel of the skin after it arrives, just peel the skin off your camera and return it within 14 days for a partial refund of $21.95 which is the cost of the PolaSkinz alone. You may opt for another color. It's your choice.

You won't find another company that manufactures skins that has a guarantee like that!

My work is impeccable as are all the PolaSkinz I manufacture. If you would like, you can contact me with an idea or request for a special skin, or with any other questions you may have. We can talk about it on the phone if you feel that you need to speak to me.

Thanks and as always,

Good Luck and Happy Buying!
