These pre-wired 3mm pure green LEDs are ready to install straight out of the package — the resistor is already built in, so there's no soldering or math required. Designed for 6V DC systems, they also run cleanly on 3V, 4V, and 5V sources, making them a practical choice for model railroads, RC builds, marine panels, and microcontroller projects alike.
Each LED emits a focused pure green at 520nm with a 25° viewing angle and a clear lens, producing 10,000–12,000 mcd of brightness — vivid and directional without scattering. The 3mm package draws 20mA at up to 6V DC, with the pre-wired resistor handling current limiting across the 3V–6V range. Approximately 15cm (6 inches) of lead wire is attached, long enough for most panel or chassis installs without splicing.

- Model railroading signals: HO and N scale block signals, crossing flashers, and yard indicators — pure green is the standard "clear/go" signal color, and the 6V rating pairs directly with common layout DC supply voltages
- RC crawlers and truck bodies: running lights and marker lights on Traxxas TRX-4, Axial SCX10, and TRX-6 semi builds where a 5V or 6V receiver pack powers the light kit

Wiring & power notes
DC power recommended: LEDs are designed for DC. Running on AC will cause flickering and reduce lifespan. If using a low-voltage AC source (model railroad transformer, DCC track voltage), convert it to DC with a MB1S bridge rectifier plus a 100µF 50V electrolytic capacitor for clean, ripple-free output.
