These Unissued Vintage items are Original Issue Microphone Cable Retaining Straps ( Green ) for the 1970`s issue Royal Air Force MK. 3B and the first pattern MK. 3C Flying Helmets all of which had a green edge trim. These straps affix the Oxygen Mask microphone wire to the side of the helmet to avoid snagging and are removed from helmets when a boom mike is fitted so as not to obstruct the boom mike arm movement. The assembly comes with strap, press stud, bolt and shouldered locking nut. These are dated 1969/71 and are rare in this Unissued condition..Nice items at a low price!
