1992 Sports Cards (Magazine) Roberto Clemente - Pittsburgh Pirates - NEAR MINT. This great Roberto Clemente card was inserted into Allen Kaye's Sports Cards News and Price Guides Magazine in 1992. Clemente is probably the most popular Latin American player ever to play the game. Clemente was a 4-time NL batting champ and a 12-time Gold Glove outfielder for the Pirates from 1954-1971. He led the Pirates to World Series victories in 1960 and 1971. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame shortly after his untimely death on the last day of 1971.
