RAM Auto/Truck No-Drill Seat Track Mount for Larger Laptops, 10" to 16" wide, Weight to 5 pounds.

Utilizes the famous RAM Tough-Tray™, a spring loaded expandable tray that can accommodate 10 to 16 inch wide laptops. The tray includes four (4) side clamping arm with rubber grip feature. These arms can be moved both vertically and horizontally. This allows for a custom fit for varying thicknesses of laptops and the freedom of not blocking ports or drives. Hole patterns on perimeter of tray facilitate the mounting of additional RAM systems to support GPS, PDAs or other electronics. Ideally suited to a multitude of applications, and easily attached to hundreds of mounting systems for cars, boats, planes, and more, compact devices just work better in the universal tablet holder from RAM.

Includes the universal no-drill vehicle mounting base with an 18" aluminum rod that can be easily bent to position your device to its optimum viewing location and/or cut to desired length. Quickly and easily installs into a variety of vehicles and other applications; the black steel foot can be attached to the inside seat rail bolt of most passenger cars or any other existing bolt. Works with horizontal or vertical mounting points.

NOT recommended for laptops over 5 pounds.

The tray comes with the curved fingers/keepers as shown in the detail pictures of the tray, NOT the flat ones in the first picture.

PLEASE NOTE/IMPORTANT: This is a good solution in most cases but it is NOT going to absolutely keep the laptop from moving while your vehicle is in motion. It's not like the laptop is going to depart from the mount, but some movement and/or vibration is pretty much a given depending on your vehicle, the weight of your laptop and the installation configuration. PLEASE NOTE#2: The 18" aluminum bar (inside the black sleeve in the photos) is intended to be bent or cut to fit your installation requirements. It is NOT flexible enough, nor is it intended to function like a gooseneck & continually repositioned.

See the last picture for mounting detail - all that is required is one bolt on the floor that you can get to close to the desired location. If you have a console, look around right next to it under the front of the passenger seat.
