Brewery and JOFA sponsored and arranged to have retired NHL players participate
in competitive hockey games. This “Original Six Hockey Heroes Tour” traveled
throughout Canada and was broadcast on television with games taking place in
locations such as Maple Leaf Gardens. Many of the greatest names in the history
of ice hockey participated in these old-timer's games including Hall of Famers: Maurice "Rocket" Richard, Red Kelly, Ted Lindsay, Rod Gilbert, Yvan Cournoyer,
Milt Schmidt, Al Arbour, Alex Delvecchio, Bill Gadsby, and Norm Ullman.
