This is a brand new needle made by the Pfanstiehl Company and Marketed in the 1950's 1960's 1970's 1980's by the Pfanstiehl Company of Waukegan, Illinois. Phanstiehl is a high end needle manufacturer that either sold original equipment needles and stylii in Pfanstiehl packaging when available or manufactured high quality phonograph needles sold under their name.
