This is a high-end photography monitor designed specifically for professional photographers, retouchers, graphic designers and anyone who requires exceptional image quality and accurate colour reproduction.
The monitor is in excellent cosmetic condition, has been well cared for and is in perfect working order.
This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a professional photography editing setup at a fraction of the cost of equivalent new equipment.
The BenQ SW271 is part of BenQ's professional PhotoVue range, developed specifically for photographers who demand precise colour reproduction and exceptional image detail.
Unlike standard computer monitors, the SW271 is designed for colour-critical work, making it particularly suitable for professional photography, image retouching, fine-art printing and digital editing.
Key specifications and features:
27-inch 4K UHD display: 3840 × 2160 resolution, providing outstanding sharpness and detail.
99% Adobe RGB coverage: An extensive colour gamut, particularly beneficial for professional photography and printing.
100% sRGB coverage: Excellent colour reproduction for web-based photography and digital content.
10-bit colour support: Smooth tonal transitions and subtle colour gradations.
IPS display technology: Consistent colours and wide viewing angles.
Hardware calibration support: Allows precise calibration of the monitor's internal colour processing.
HDR10 support: Supports HDR content for compatible workflows.
14-bit 3D LUT: Provides precise colour processing and smooth tonal reproduction.
USB-C connectivity: Along with HDMI and DisplayPort connections.
Height-adjustable stand: Allows comfortable positioning for extended editing sessions.
The 4K resolution is particularly useful when editing high-resolution photographs, allowing you to inspect fine details, assess sharpness and work comfortably with professional editing software.
The wide Adobe RGB colour gamut is especially beneficial for photographers preparing images for professional printing.
The monitor comes with its professional light-shielding hood, including the side panels.
This is a particularly useful accessory for photographers working in environments where ambient light can affect the appearance of images on screen.
The hood helps reduce unwanted reflections and glare, creating a more controlled viewing environment for accurate photo editing.
It is especially beneficial when making critical adjustments to exposure, contrast and colour.
Also included is the original BenQ Hotkey Puck.
This convenient external controller allows you to access the monitor's settings and switch between colour modes without navigating through the buttons on the monitor itself.
It makes switching between different editing and viewing configurations much easier.
I'm also including an X-Rite ColorMunki Display, a dedicated monitor calibration device.
This is an excellent addition for photographers who want to maintain consistent and accurate colour reproduction throughout their editing workflow.
The ColorMunki measures the colours and brightness produced by a monitor and, when used with compatible calibration software, helps create an accurate display profile.
Benefits of monitor calibration include:
More accurate and consistent colour reproduction.
Improved consistency between editing sessions.
Better control over brightness and white balance.
Greater confidence when preparing photographs for printing.
Reduced differences between the colours you see on screen and your finished images.
The ColorMunki is particularly useful for photographers working with portraits, landscapes, product photography, commercial images and fine-art printing.
Please check software compatibility with your computer and operating system.
This complete setup is particularly well suited to:
Professional and enthusiast photographers.
Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom users.
