Womersley & Co. was a mid-20th-century contracting firm based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, that specialized in heating, ventilating, and plumbing installations.  Womersley & Co. partnered on significant public and private regional developments alongside other major mid-century enterprises (such as Bethlehem Steel). One of their documented highlights includes executing the comprehensive mechanical systems for large commercial and manufacturing facilities in the New Hampshire/Dover area during the industrial boom of the 1950s.
