Beautiful quilt kit of red heart blocks and plain white blocks, all 4” square.

80 red hearts

99 plain white

4 sections of 2.5” white border fabric - I really recommend sewing the border on before cutting the edges straight, otherwise you end up with the whole of the edge of the quilt top being on the bias - ask me how I know that! 😂 

The finished size will be approximately 40” x 50”, depending on the size of your seams. (The heart blocks are sewn with a quarter inch seam.) Nice size for a child’s quilt or lap quilt.

The wadding is 6oz, and made from recycled plastic bottles! ♻️

There is a choice of backing - either a vintage Cath Kidston tablecloth ♻️ or a new & bright floral cotton. Both have been washed. Please let me know if you want “white floral” or “bright floral” when you order.

The only thing not included is binding, but there is enough of the backing fabric to self bind the quilt, if you wanted to. (Personally, I love that way of doing the binding, but don’t tell anyone! 🤫)
