Vintage American Olean model 541 recessed ceramic bathroom soap dish with integral grab bar. Pale mint / Spring Green glossy glaze. Made in the USA. Back is stamped AMERICAN 541 MADE IN USA.

This is the classic mid-century tile-in fixture: the glazed lip sits over the wall tile and the unglazed body is set into the wall. Ribbed soap well, front drain lip, and open grab bar.

Removed from a wall. The glazed surfaces are glossy, with only minor dark specks. I do not see cracks or chips in the glaze. The unglazed plaster setting body has chips, crumbling corners, and brown staining from age and removal. Old mortar is still on the back. Sold as a salvage piece for a period bathroom, tile match, or display. Not a new-old-stock example.

Please look at every photo, including the back and plaster edges. Sold as-is. Measure your opening before you buy. Ships from Dayton, Ohio.
