| This item is a right-handed 35 1/4" (measured along the axis of the shaft) hickory shaft face balanced mallet putter. Made by Louisville Golf and it is their Amby-Dex Model-can be used left or right-handed. The Amby-Dex putter was first offered in the Wilson catalog in 1925. It was described as “an ingenious center-shafted wood head club, made with dual faces of brass. Its peculiar construction gives it exceptional balance.” It can be played either right or left-handed. A faithful reproduction of an old hickory club. F 3 swingweight. The head is in good used condition. It does show signs of play including finish wear. Not damaged and still very playable. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is the old original Louisville Golf marked hickory. The shaft is straight, I see no cracks, and it is tight at the head. The grip is a playable long leather wrap. $235 when new and not currently available on their web site. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, eBay and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. eBay collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money. |
