Ayres of Onley, Virginia in 2002, making this one of the earliest documented works in the Grace Ayres collection. Using a fine #4/#7 cut on the 20½" x 29" piece, Grace achieved remarkable detail — particularly in the crow's plumage, the sunflower petals, and the precisely executed geometric chevron border.
