Description:
A South West Africa King George VI wartime group of seven SWA-overprinted South African War Effort values, dated to the 1943-1944 period. The lot includes the ½d, 1d, 1½d, 2d, 3d, 6d and 1s3d denominations in a mixture of horizontal and vertical pairs or strips, with bilingual English and Afrikaans inscriptions represented. The reverse images show original gum with hinge traces or remnants, some gum disturbance, and scattered toned patches. Colours remain generally presentable and the fronts have good overall visual appeal, though centring and perforation quality vary across the multiples.

• Centring	Mixed centring across the pairs and strips, generally clear of perforations with some values slightly off-centre

• Colour	Front colours remain generally fresh across the different values, with no severe fading apparent
