I received this Mamod Roadster as a gift in approximately 1978 and have owned it ever since.

It is an early pre-sight-glass version with six-spoke wheels, overflow-plug boiler and solid-fuel burner.

It comes with the original brown Mamod box and original internal packing, together with the steering extension, burner tray, funnel, instruction leaflet and original Mamod fuel packaging. I also still have the small original plastic bag in which the last fuel block was kept.

The Roadster has been used only occasions for family get togethers and has some age-related marks from use and storage. The original box also has wear, creasing and some damage consistent with its age. Please study the photographs carefully as they form part of the description.

The model has been stored for many years and has not recently been steam-tested, so I am selling it as a vintage collectable rather than guaranteeing current operation.

It has remained in my ownership since approximately 1978 and has not been assembled from separately sourced parts.

It will be very carefully packed, with the original box protected inside a separate strong outer shipping box.
