Description:
A fresh mint never hinged Falkland Islands King George VI one pound pictorial definitive, printed in black and violet with the monarch’s portrait at left, crown at upper right, and the Falkland Islands arms with sea lion and ship at centre. The stamp is cleanly perforated and shows strong colour contrast, with no postal cancellation visible. The reverse shows original gum and no evident hinge mark, supporting the mint never hinged assessment. Centring is slightly high but still attractive, and the perforations appear intact around all sides.
