A 1932 United States Washington Bicentennial 1c green usage on commemorative local cover, bearing a horizontal strip of three stamps tied by a Springfield, Illinois circular date stamp and machine cancellation dated September 18, 1932. The cover features a purple Grand Army of the Republic encampment cachet with portraits and event wording, addressed in manuscript to Goshen, New York, with a receiving mark on the reverse. The stamps present well, with intact perforations and good colour, while the envelope shows normal postal handling, light edge wear and minor age toning.
