Beautiful vintage Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria demitasse cup and saucer set of three, decorated in the USA by Pickard.

This colorful mixed set includes one yellow, one black, and one lavender/purple demitasse cup, each accompanied by its matching saucer. The rich solid-color porcelain is beautifully accented with brilliant gold decoration. Each cup features a fully gilded gold interior, gold rim and handle accents, and a delicate gold line around the pedestal foot. The coordinating scalloped saucers are finished with fine gold trim.

The undersides bear the Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria porcelain mark along with the Pickard decorating mark. The combination of German Hutschenreuther porcelain and American Pickard decoration makes these particularly attractive vintage pieces.

All three sets are being sold together as one 6-piece lot: 3 cups and 3 matching saucers.

Because each cup has a small rim chip, I have priced the group accordingly. They remain a gorgeous display set and would also be wonderful for a collector who already owns these difficult-to-find pieces and needs replacement saucers.

Condition

Good vintage condition with flaws.

All three cups have a small chip along the upper rim, as shown clearly in the photographs. The chips affect the gold-trimmed rim and expose the white porcelain beneath. There is a tiny chip on the bottom of the handle on the yellow cup. There is also age-related wear to the gold decoration, including some wear/scratching to the gold interiors, rims, handles and foot trim.

The black cup shows some exterior surface scratching, visible in the photographs.

The matching saucers appear to be in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks but some age-related wear to the gold trim and surfaces.

Please examine all photographs carefully, particularly the last four close-ups of the rim chips, as they are an important part of the condition description.
