Description:
A used Queen Victoria British Central Africa Protectorate 3 shillings Arms issue from the 1897–1900 period, printed in black and yellow with the Protectorate arms supported by two native figures and the motto below. The stamp is perforated and shows a light partial postal marking near the upper right, leaving the central design largely unobscured. The back appears without visible original gum, consistent with postal use. Perforations are generally intact though a little uneven in places, and the design is slightly shifted to the right. Colour remains presentable for this high-value colonial issue, with some minor age spotting and handling evidence visible on close inspection.
