Creek OBH-8SE Special Edition MM Phono Pre-Amplifier with OBH-2 Regulated Power Supply & Original Box

Offered here is a Creek Audio OBH-8SE Special Edition moving-magnet phono preamplifier paired with the desirable Creek OBH-2 regulated power supply.

This is the upgraded Special Edition OBH-8SE, not the standard OBH-8. The SE version was Creek's upgraded version of the OBH-8 and was originally offered with upgraded internal components and the higher-grade regulated power supply. SoundStage Hi-Fi

The included OBH-2 is the genuine Creek regulated power supply, not a generic replacement adapter. This U.S.-voltage version is marked:

Input: 120VAC 60Hz
Output: 24V DC, 500mA max

The OBH-8SE is designed for moving-magnet (MM) phono cartridges. The rear panel provides stereo RCA inputs and outputs, ground connection, and 24V DC power input. Rear-panel specifications show a 3.5mV / 47kΩ MM input and 250mV output.

The preamp is in good pre-owned vintage condition with normal cosmetic wear from age and use. There are light scratches, scuffs and marks on the cabinet and faceplate as pictured. The OBH-2 power supply also shows normal cosmetic wear.

The original Creek box is included, although it shows substantial age/storage wear, creasing, tape and other cosmetic deterioration. It is included for originality/collectibility and will be placed inside a separate shipping box for protection.
