Nice heavy Golden Pottery pickle jar featuring a rustic cream, brown and dark blue glazed finish, raised "PICKLES" lettering, side handle and natural cork lid. Includes the original-style wooden pickle tongs/pinchers.

The pottery jar is in nice overall condition with the natural variations, speckling, small pits and irregularities expected from this type of pottery. A hairline/firing crack is visible on the unglazed underside, as shown closely in the photos. The wooden tongs are cracked and are not suitable for regular use. They will still be included so the buyer has the original piece and can more easily use it as a guide when finding a replacement. The cork has natural surface wear and imperfections.

A substantial, heavier piece that would look wonderful in a rustic, farmhouse or cottage-style kitchen.
