Product Description:
This is a Karl Hofner KH202 (Guarneri model) violin, crafted in 1997 in Bubenreuth, Germany by the renowned Karl Hofner company. Made from carefully dried European tonewoods, the violin features a solid carved spruce top and maple back and sides using traditional single-piece carving techniques. The purfling is inlaid in a groove following classic methods. The KH202 model is distinguished by its flat arching and bold, large f-holes, inspired by Guarneri designs. Finished in a vibrant, deep orange-red varnish over fine, well-figured wood, this advanced model offers a mature, rich, and sweet sound that only well-aged instruments can produce. This violin is ideal for players seeking a high-quality instrument from the start or upgrading from beginner models.
The set includes:
The instrument has been fully adjusted (bridge, pegs, soundpost) and cleaned, ready to play immediately. There are minor signs of use such as small scratches and slight wear on the case, but overall the violin remains in healthy and clean condition.
