This is an approximately 90-year-old New York Bach trumpet, featuring the oldest serial number #1936 I have ever seen. While the originality of all parts is uncertain, the trumpet shows age-appropriate wear including three patch repairs and dent corrections. It has been professionally serviced at a Tokyo music store and is fully playable. Despite its vintage appearance, it is surprisingly easy to play. The pistons share matching serial numbers, including the underside of the piston caps and pistons 1 through 3. All pistons and tuning slides function perfectly, and the third valve slide is removable. Please note, the mouthpiece is not included. This instrument is ideal for collectors or players who appreciate vintage brass instruments and will care for it properly.
