MicroSHIFT has become my favorite components. They are quality made in Taiwan, easy to set up, durable, reasonably light, shift precisely, and cost efficient. I'm using their components on a couple of my bikes. I don't know about you, but I'm tired of too many gears. 8 is great!
This auction includes a MicroSHIFT Acolyte 8 speed rear derailleur with clutch, MicroSHIFT 8 speed shifter, MicroSHIFT Acolyte 8 speed cassette with a 11-46 range
The MicroSHIFT Acolyte rear derailleur is a mid cage, model RD-M5185M. It will work with the included 46t cassette with a 1X setup. It's the version with a clutch. As an added note, this derailleur will work with the MicroSHIFT Advent 9 speed shifter and 9 speed cassette and is my preferred derailleur over the Advent.
The MicroSHIFT Acolyte 8 speed cassette is a 12-46t, model CS-H083. It's compatible with a standard HG 8-11 freehub body. The cogs are steel.
The MicroSHIFT Acolyte 8 speed shifter is the model SL-M6185-R. Please note this is the nicest of the 3 different Acolyte shifters MicroSHIFT makes and has the silicon pad on the shifter lever. It does not have an optical gear indicator. It includes a slick galvanized cable plus a cable end tip. Cable housing is not included.
No instructions are included with the components but you can find videos and instructions online. MicroSHIFT components are notoriously easy to set up and 100% of problems are the fault of the installer. If you don't have the skills and/or tools to install them, please do not purchase.
