This is a Dell laptop......... (WITH A LOVELY LARGE SCREEN FOR VIEWING)  that has been tested and comes with its charger/power supply which is a genuine DELL.. This laptop has installed the same genuine Saab software that Saab dealers and Saab independents would use in the workshop. This has installed SAAB GlobalTIS V148.00 a very rare genuine version of GlobalTIS, most people only have access to version V146.00 covering cars to 2010, not all Saab independents or specialists have access to this later version. This was the very last version ever released by Saab and enables you to work on vehicles up to 2012. Version V146.00 only does up to model year 2010. With this laptop you can work on cars up to model year 2012 with no subscription to pay. The installed software has a lifetime licence ....this is a Saab owner must have piece of equipment, all set up and ready to use. NO NEED FOR ORIO SUBSCRIPTION, LAST FULL VERSION FOR OFFLINE PROGRAMMING ETC. 


 This laptop has the correct RS232 serial port fitted and set up to allow direct connection of your techline cable to your Tech 2, no need for USB adapters which need the correct drivers to work correctly and which can cause problems with data transfer between your tech 2 and Global TIS or TIS2000. My Tech 2 has been connected to test the techline connection between the laptop and tech 2 and is set up correctly.... a Tech 2 IS NOT included in the sale, it has been connected to show that the techline beween tech 2 and the laptop is correctly set up ready for use and shows it getting programming approval. Both the SAAB GlobalTIS V148.00 and the SAAB TIS2000 are set up for security access etc. The laptop comes with its power supply/charger. The laptop battery holds good charge.


SAAB TIS2000 is similiar to the SAAB GlobalTIS but covers older vehicles up to model year 2007.


SAAB MDi Manager Software... this is for use with an MDi for when using Tech2Win (laptop based tech2, THIS IS INSTALLED ON THIS LAPTOP SEE PICTURES), an MDi IS NOT included in the sale... please remember that, you are getting the laptop in the images and its power cable/charger only.
SAAB WIS (Workshop Information System) this is the full version covering models:- 9-3 9600, 9-3 9400, 9-2X 9346, 9-3 9440, 900, 9-5 9650 and 9-4X  this is a full technical database for SAAB owners, a fully comprehensive and technical workshop manual. This includes technical groups including wiring diagrams, DTC (diagnostic trouble code)  explanation and then how to locate the fault, how to remove & refit every part on a Saab.  WIS is extremely useful when diagnosing and fixing faults on your SAAB. Another must have for Saab owners doing repairs themselves.


SAAB EPC  (Electronic Parts Catalogue) this can be used to find the part you require for your Saab with or without VIN model search.  Exploded view diagrams so you can actually see the part your looking for.

This laptop is ready to be used straight away and is ready to use straight away you dont need to set anything up as all the hard work has already been done for you. Techline is all set up ready for you to connect your Tech 2.


On the laptop desktop you will find instruction folders explaining how to connect your tech 2  to the laptop and other basic instructions that can be used to help you to get started with the laptop. Could be useful if you have not used this software before although you do need to have some automotive experience.
