Condition is entered as New in the Product Input. All hard drives are tested before dispatch. Current-stock photos and the physical label control the exact appearance, production batch and packaging.
Setup Before Use
The hard drive is supplied without pre-formatting and without any pre-installed operating system. It must be initialized and then partitioned before use. When connected through a compatible USB enclosure or adapter, initialization and partitioning are still required. In Windows, open This PC / My Computer, right-click and select Manage, then open Disk Management to initialize the new drive and create the required partition or volume.
Packaging
Sealed in an anti-static bag and packed with protective cushioning for safe transit. Anti-static packaging does not by itself prove manufacturer sealing.
