This 1960's battery-powered Monorail set is a highly sought-after vintage toy from Hong Kong. With its classic design and functionality, this set is a rare find for collectors of vintage and classic toys. The addition of front working light adds a unique touch to this nostalgic piece, making it a must-have for any toy enthusiast looking to add a unique and charming addition to their collection.
As can be seen from the video the monorail is in good working order. However please note the following imperfections:
- On one of the underside of the black tracks, there is a slight chip on the plastic connection (see photo 11). This does not effect the connection and it still holds well.
- Once the batteries are placed in the battery compartment the monorail will be on the ON position and the wheels will rotate. The previous on/off switch on the top of the monorail car is no longer there. Therefore to turn off the monorail the batteries need to be removed.
- The underside piece of plastic which closes the battery compartment is lose on one side and so not used when in operation (see photo 9)
- Some of the corners of the box are a little worn.
