The Artwox #AW50042 Planking Spread Checker Woodsheet belongs to the same family of universal, scratch-building raw materials as the previous 1.2mm version, but features a wider layout designed for larger-scale vessels or heavier planking replication. 
 
 
 
Product Specifications
  • Plank Width: 1.8mm. The micro-laser-etched lines run parallel across the sheet, precisely spaced at 1.8mm to represent wider deck timbers or side-hull plank runs. 
  • Sheet Footprint: 40cm x 15cm (400mm x 150mm)
  • Ultra-Thin Engineering: Measuring at a thickness of just 0.21mm, it adds practically no height profile to your underlying plastic or wood sub-deck.
  • Real Wood Construction: Made from natural veneer that is delivered not oil-stain coated. This is ideal for modelers who want to apply custom wood washes, deck bleaching effects, or deep varnish tones to match a historical vessel.
  • Self-Adhesive: Includes a clean peel-and-stick backing, meaning it secures smoothly to flat or gently curved plastic and wood deck bases without requiring liquid glues.

    Because a 1.8mm plank represents a broader surface, this sheet changes utility depending on your ship's chosen scale:
  • 1/350 Scale: A 1.2mm sheet looks like a standard deck, but this 1.8mm pattern creates wide planks scaling to 630mm (approx. 25 inches) in real life. This is great for rugged utility areas, heavy merchant decks, or large platform sections.
  • 1/150 to 1/200 Scale: An excellent proportional choice for intermediate-scale plastic sailing ships (like vintage Revell or Heller kits), making the planks look a realistic 270mm to 360mm wide.
  • 1/96 to 1/48 Scale (Wooden Sailing Ships): Perfect for smaller deck structures, internal platform overlays, or hatch grates on large-scale wooden multi-deck kits.

    I will combine for shipping and will be using the new USPS Ground advantage which will save you money on shipping.
    • #3 OBC-Open box complete- Parts have been removed from Mfg internal packaging-I checked every part to make sure everything is there and consider the model complete. Have put small loose parts in its on plastic bag and repackaged the sprues so no parts can get lost.
    • #4 OBCS Open box complete started -small parts have been glued together like wings, tail section, pilot to pilot seat or other mischelanious parts.

Inventory

  1. Stock is reserved once confirmed payment is received, so prompt payment is suggested. My eBay store, as well as my other sales avenues,  source items from the same warehouse. The eBay stock levels are updated daily, so the quantity available number is accurate. If we are out of an item, due to an inventory mis-count (Human error) we will attempt to acquire the item from a distrubutor or manufacturerto to fill your order . If we are unable to acquire the item in a timely fashion, we will contact you and offer you a full refund or your permission to back order the item for you. 

All shipments are FOB Origin. In other words once delivered to the freight carrier be it the USPS, UPS, FedX or any other carrier my responsibility ends. At the hand off to the carrier you are now responsible for the shipment. If it is lost or damaged it will be your responsibility to notify the carrier to either help find the shipment and or recover damages from the carrier. If you would like insurance I can add to the final invoice.
