Low-level laser therapy uses a semiconductor diode to deliver light energy to the skin's surface for physical therapy applications, a technique sometimes called cold laser or photobiomodulation therapy. This unit uses a Gallium Aluminium Arsenide (GaAlAs) semiconductor laser with nine selectable pulse-frequency steps spanning 10 Hz to 5 kHz, giving clinicians fine control over the treatment protocol for each session.

Settings and session progress are shown on a large graphical LCD, driven by the unit's onboard software, with a treatment timer adjustable from 0 to 99 minutes. The device runs on standard 110V/220V, 50/60 Hz mains power, making it usable across different regions without a separate voltage converter.
