Palette Knife Still Life

This is an original still life by renowned 20th century still life artist Robert Cox. Born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, Cox moved to Escondido, California in 1962 and became one of the most prolific artists of his time. He is most known for his signature, palette knife, floral still life pieces. He often charged very little for his work sometimes giving his work away wanting to share his art.

This is an exceptional floral still life oil painting on stretched canvas.  Measures 12" by 16". Frame OA measures 17 1/2" by 21 1/2". Signed LR. Beautifully framed and presented. His work is represented in museums, galleries and private collections.
