- Oven and broiler safe to 500 degF.
- Do not use aerosol cooking sprays; buildup over time will cause food to stick.
Care
- Dishwasher safe.
- Nonstick cookware is naturally subject to wear and tear. We recommend replacing your pans as needed, or approx. every five years.
- Avoid using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents.
- Stubborn food residue and stains can be removed with a nylon scrubbing pad and Bar Keepers Friend cleanser.

Q: When I wipe my pans I get black on my paper towel is this safe?
A: The black residue is most likely baked-on oil or food buildup, not the pan's coating. Avoid aerosol cooking sprays, which can leave difficult residue on SCANPAN cookware. Before using the pan again: Wash it thoroughly with hot, soapy water. Use a nylon brush or nonabrasive sponge on stubborn areas. Rinse and dry it.
