Edward G. Robinson – 1930’s signed 4 ½ x 5 ¼ album page. Robinson signed his full name, in black fountain pen. Small newsprint head shot, adhered to the above left corner.

Signed on verso by noted character actor Eduardo Ciannelli. Also, in black fountain pen. Clipped actors guild photo and bio pasted below his signature.

Comes with an original 1930’s Warner Brothers glossy 8x10 still photo.

Red “Edward G. Robinson Warner Bros. First National Pictures” hand stamp on verso. Blue hand stamped copyright notice also on verso. Photo is fine with left side bending to the border area. Not visible when viewed head on.

Bio and Background:

Edward G. Robinson (born Emanuel Goldenberg; December 12, 1893 – January 26, 1973) was a Romanian-born American actor who became one of the most iconic figures of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Though he was a soft-spoken, highly cultured intellectual and art collector in real life, he achieved legendary status for his intense portrayals of gangsters and tough guys, most notably setting the standard for the entire movie genre as Rico Bandello in Little Caesar (1931). 

Over a prolific 50-year career spanning more than 100 films, Robinson demonstrated immense versatility beyond crime dramas, leaving a permanent mark on film noir, psychological thrillers, and biblical epics
