Hi! Up for auction is a large heavy ammonite fossil impression in limestone from the Jurassic Coast of South Wales

Natural rock fall, no cutting or dyes

Ammonite fossils are generally 200 million. They belong to the very early Jurassic period (Hettangian stage) and the latest Triassic period (Rhaetian stage)

Size: 26 x 11 x 23cm ; Ammonite is 16cm diam ; 9kg ; approx
