Selling my 2016 Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost, with approximately 81,000 miles.
The car is currently a non-runner and does not start, so it is being sold as spares or repair.
The car has generally been a good car and is in good condition for its age and mileage. The bodywork is in reasonable condition with the usual age-related marks, and the interior is complete and generally good. It is currently a bit grubby and would benefit from a good vacuum and wipe down, but should clean up well.
The car stopped running and has since had a compression test carried out.
The test showed 0 PSI compression on two cylinders. I have not had a definitive diagnosis of exactly what has caused the loss of compression, so I don't want to claim that I know the exact fault.
The car therefore needs to be repaired/investigated and is being sold as a non-runner.
There is no oil in the cylinders.
Please look carefully at all the photographs as they form part of the description. There are some age-related marks and general signs of use, but overall I would describe the car as being in good condition considering its age and mileage.
The car cannot currently be driven away, so the buyer will need to arrange collection/recovery.
I'm being as open and honest as possible about the condition and the compression test results. Please ask any questions before buying if there is anything you would like to know.
