1970 Gibson ES-340 Hollowbody Guitar in Natural 335 Tune-O-Matic Conversion W/OHSC.
This one has been converted from the original tailpiece setup and now features a real Tune-O-Matic bridge, giving it the familiar feel and response of a classic ES-335-style setup.
It was extremely well done and is an excellent player with super low action.
It has been professionally refretted with jumbo frets, and the work was done extremely well. The result is a vintage Gibson semi-hollow that plays smooth, clean, and effortless.
The ES-340 is one of Gibson’s more interesting vintage semi-hollow models, sharing much of the DNA of the ES-335 but with its own unique character. With the upgraded bridge setup and jumbo refret, this one is built for someone who wants a vintage Gibson they can actually play and enjoy.
The guitar is in pretty amazing condition for its age. There are minor marks here and there, but take a look at the pics, it is awfully clean and in excellent condition for a 56 year old Gibson.
Comes with original Gibson case as pictured.
