Here is an Antique Set of 2 natural pure (flax?) Linen kitchen or bath show hand towels

With stunning hand embroidery!  

Early 1900s Victorian/Edwardian era.

Rare collector items from Paul Steketee & Sons, Grand Rapids, Michigan

(A fine department store….i was there a few times when I was a young girl).

Steketee’s opened in 1862

Both towels have original tags….just imagine!  4/$1.00.  

Top and bottom have hemstitching detail, with selvedge sides. 

       Note…these will need a gentle soak to refresh.
