Security Tag Pinhole Note- There is a pinhole near the top back collar area due to the store's anti-theft security tag pin. Honestly, most sellers wouldn't mention this since store tag holes are very common on new clothing items and frankly it doesn't bother most people. However, I want anyone who buys something from me to be happy with their purchase and not feel like they were misled in anyway. Please checkout the last 2 pictures of the security tag pinhole at different distances and you decide for yourself before making any purchase decision. Thanks.
About My Jerseys- I've been selling sports jerseys on eBay for close to 10 years. I specialize in selling older jerseys of players who are either retired or have finished their college careers. How do I get these jerseys? In a nutshell, I buy them at large retail store chains when the player has just been traded, retired, recently finished their college playing career or the jersey style of say for example a HOF player is being discontinued for a newer jersey version in the upcoming year. Stores tend to have big sales on these types of player jerseys when either of these 4 situations happen which is why I look to buy a players jersey at this specific time. After the store purchase, the majority of the time I will then place these jerseys in my storage for an average of at least 3 to 5+ years before looking to sell them. Why wait so long? First off, if I tried to sell a jersey immediately after purchasing it I would either have a hard time selling it or getting the price I want due to the fact the market is probably flooded with that players jersey because he just got traded or retired. Retail stores are cutthroat and will quickly dump any players jersey who are not currently with their team any more due to inventory space limitations. Stores want the new young star team player and not someone who used to be a star on that team. Anyways, I have zero negative feedback on all my individual jersey sales and 2000+ overall positive reviews. I sell/sold a lot of jerseys in the $200-$300 range and as high as $500 and still have perfect feedback on all of these jersey buys. At these prices, I would have definitely gotten negative feedback if the buyer wasn't happy with the quality or my customer service. This is why I take a lot of closeup HD pictures of the actual jersey because I have nothing to hide. You will never see generic pictures(off the internet) on any of my single item jersey listings. Please feel free to move your mouse pointer over any of the listing pictures for a zoomed in look. Zooming in on a picture is the best way to inspect material texture and the type of graphics being applied to the jersey. Thanks for your time.
Cardboard Box Shipping- Since this is a men's 2 digit number jersey(25), I will have to ship it in a cardboard box to prevent major creases in the graphics due to packing & shipping issues. I've learned over the years because a jersey not only vertically offsets its front and back jersey numbers to accommodate the back nameplate, it also typically makes the back jersey numbers much bigger than the front jersey numbers. This is why it's very difficult to fold a 2 digit jersey compactly in a standard sized poly mailer or a USPS Priority Mail Padded Envelope without possibly creasing the large jersey number graphics. I know lot's of sellers just to save a few bucks on shipping will stuff a jersey in a poly mailer and fold over the jersey number in multiple places without thinking twice. I never ship like this because I know firsthand how much of a PITA it is to get rid of small minor graphic creases/wrinkles. You can forget about getting rid of those deep sharp graphic creases. Those are normally permanent. Shipping the jersey for a few bucks more in a cardboard box is the best way to insure the jersey arrives in its original condition as shown in the listing.
