Released o on 5 August 2026, 2026–27 Upper Deck MVP Hockey kicks off the new NHL collecting season with an exciting mix of established superstars, emerging talent and some of the first Rookie Cards of the new hockey-card season. Built around a 250-card checklist, the release combines classic MVP collecting with colourful parallels, themed inserts, rare short prints and highly collectible team sets.
Collectors can chase popular inserts including Clutch Performers, Gotta Have Hart, Let It Rip, Paired Up, The Slot and Welcome, Freshman!, alongside Silver Script parallels, MVP Stickers and the extremely difficult Mascot Lenticulars. Selected inserts also feature attractive Gold parallels individually numbered to only 299 copies, adding an extra level of scarcity and collectability.
The series is also ideal for NHL team collectors, with Base Team Sets bringing together players from individual clubs across the 200-card regular base checklist. From established stars and franchise favourites to emerging young players, the team sets provide an affordable way to collect and display your favourite NHL club from the opening release of the 2026–27 season.
