A tado° Bridge X or another compatible Thread Border Router is required to connect the thermostat to the internet unless you already have a suitable Thread Border Router in your smart home setup.

The tado° X range is not compatible with the older tado° V3+ system or its Internet Bridge. Please check compatibility before purchasing.

The thermostat can also be integrated with compatible Matter-enabled smart home systems.
