This is a beautiful Antique, Qing Dynasty 1900's Era Chinese Rosewood Display Stand, Hongmu Base. It's in very good condition for it's age. It’s glossy and intricately hand carved, but it has some writing on the bottom from its former art dealer owner and light scratches on the platform. The inner display platform diameter is 6.5" and the outer diameter is 8". It's 2 3/8" tall. It’s perfect to display your pieces from this era, but I wouldn’t place an item over 3 lbs on it. It feels substantial and weighs 11.4oz. The feet are only slightly uneven, so level / stabilize it before placing your item on it. The glue on the rim, under the platform is separating, so you might want to re-glue it. These stands are ALL HAND MADE and OLD so expect minor imperfections. This piece will be a lovely addition to your fine art collection pieces so you can display them in style, with a stand that’s reflective of your piece’s era.
