ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN STERLING SILVER CIGARETTE CASE – CHESTER 1903
A beautiful antique Edwardian sterling silver cigarette case, hallmarked at Chester in 1903 and bearing the maker's mark of William Neale / William Neale & Sons.
The case features attractive engraved foliate and scroll decoration across the exterior, giving it a particularly ornate Edwardian appearance.
Hallmarks
The interior carries a clear set of British silver hallmarks including:
Lion passant – Sterling Silver
Chester assay mark
Date letter C – 1903
William Neale maker's mark
This is genuine solid sterling silver, not silver plate.

Condition
The case is in antique/pre-owned condition with age-related surface marks, light scratches and signs of use consistent with an item of this age.
I have done my best to highlight a dent on one of the bottom corners.

Please study all photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description.
