Beautiful vintage Art Deco pottery candlestick featuring hand-painted floral decoration with raised black tubelined detailing. Finished in striking shades of cobalt blue, olive green, mustard and cream, this elegant trumpet-shaped candlestick is a wonderful example of early 20th-century European art pottery.

Unmarked aside from an incised X to the base. The style is reminiscent of Dutch Gouda pottery, although I have not been able to attribute it to a specific maker.

A lovely decorative piece for collectors of Art Deco, Gouda-style or European art pottery.
