Irene Franklin was born on June 13, 1876 in New York City, New York, USA. She was known for Registered Nurse (1934), Blazing Barriers (1937) and Down to Their Last Yacht (1934). She was married to Jerry Overton Jarnigan and Burton Green. American character comedienne, on stage from the age of six months, in vaudeville at five and on Broadway at six. Franklin's Broadway credits included Sweet Adeline (1929), The Greenwich Village Follies (1921), The Passing Show of 1917 (1917), Hands Up (1915), The Summer Widowers (1910), and The Orchid (1907). She wrote lyrics for Sweet Adeline and The Passing Show of 1917 in addition to performing in those productions. Lost her fortune in the 1929 stock market crash and died. penniless at an Actor's Fund Home in Englewood, New JerseyShe died on June 16, 1941. Trimmed, corner and edge wear. Very rare.
