A group of six cards from the P Lorillard Co. set "Assorted Standard Bearers of Different Countries". This 50 card set, T105 in the Burdick numbering system, was issued around 1914-1916, and depicts a military figure in full dress uniform carrying his national flag, set against a white background.

This set came with a variety of different backs (Zira, Honest Scrap, blank), and in both a thin paper and a thicker board version.

There is some light soiling and some other minor detractions, but the fronts have terrific images and vibrant color.  A very collectable and interesting lot! we have two more similar groups on auction this week, so you have an opportunity to acquire more than a third of this set.
