The Fender Bassman 1961 Brownface Piggyback vintage amplifier. This is a gem of an amplifier and will be sad to see it go, but I am not using it very much nowadays and we are also moving to a smaller house. I bought it from the former Pete Townsend guitar tech Alan Rogan. He originally bought from the US whilst on tour with the Who. As such, it is 110v but comes with a transformer to convert to 220v. It was serviced when I bought it and has only been used in the house and in rehearsal rooms from time to time. For it's age, it is in great condition as shown in the photo section. Note - The lable with the date on has been heat damaged, but when it was serviced (Bernard Maughan from South Shields), he confirmed that it all showed to be in-keeping with a 60 - 61 model. The speaker cab has 2 x 12" Oxford original speakers. The original speaker cable is also included. The amp will need to be colleced (north tyneside) due to the weight - unless the buyer wants to arrange a courier. Thanks for looking - let me know if you have any questions.
