Genuine authentic piece.  This is a wonderful Papua New Guinea Cassowary Feather Headdress called a Top Knot that comes from the West Sepik Region in Papua New Guinea. These headdresses consists  of a multitude of feather's affixed to a woven string skullcap or base. Headdresses  like this are also worn by themselves or attached to headdresses with Birds of Paradise Feathers.  A perfect adornment for your home or to add to your collection.
